Farewell after 10 years in motion.

"Schlagartig! Sadomasochism Organisation Austria" closes down on 31.12.2011 after working within the Austrian BDSM scene for 10 years.
That means: starting January 2012 we will stop all our activities. However, we are very happy, that two of our projects will continue to exist (possibly in a slightly different form):
- SMip! The SM-Info-Point, the meeting for newcomers, curious and like-minded people, will - with a new organisational structure - still be held approximately once per quarter. Related information will (soon) be available at www.sminfopoint.at.
- Our website stays online as source of information until further notice. However, we reserve the right to gradually change or remove invalid information (such as contact information).
For many years we cared for and supported people in crisis situations and referred them on to experienced, liberal and open-minded experts. Here, the counselling service "Courage" with its sexual counsellors, psychologists, doctors, legal practitioners and other specialised staff proved to be a competent point of contact and an important tower of strength for our work.
Therefore, and in accordance with our bylaws, we will donate all funds remaining after closure of our organisation to the counselling service "Courage" (www.courage-beratung.at).
We can continue to refer BDSM practitioners in crisis situations to the experts of the counselling service "Courage". You will be in good hands - don't hesitate to ask for support!
